It is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not provide formal legal advice or court representation. By engaging our services, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:
Administrative Nature: Our services are strictly limited to administrative dispute processing, factual file analysis, procedural guidance, consumer rights advocacy, and document preparation across various sectors (including suppliers, landlords, employers, and contractors).
No Legal Counsel: No communication or material received from the company constitutes formal legal counsel.
Independent Counsel: If you require formal legal representation, you must consult a registered legal practitioner independently.
2. Sector Scope, Limitations & Liability Waiver
Complaints Authority SA assists with administrative dispute processing across various sectors involving suppliers, landlords, employers, and contractors. You explicitly acknowledge that:
Jurisdiction: Final determinations rest entirely with independent statutory bodies, tribunals, or Ombuds such as the Rental Housing Tribunal (RHT), the CCMA, or the National Consumer Commission (NCC).
No Guarantees: Complaints Authority SA provides administrative assistance only; it gives no guarantee, warranty, or assurance of a successful outcome or financial settlement.
Liability Waiver: To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Complaints Authority SA, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services, including but not limited to adverse rulings, dismissed claims, delays by statutory bodies, or any subsequent financial losses.
3. Institutional Forum Restrictions & Assisted Self-Representation
Certain statutory forums, tribunals, and Ombuds do not legally permit third-party paid consultants to formally file or appear on behalf of a complainant. Where these institutional restrictions apply, you explicitly acknowledge that:
Assisted Self-Representation: The service provided by Complaints Authority SA is strictly limited to behind-the-scenes support. This includes professional document preparation, case file structuring, evidence collation, and procedural coaching to enable you to present your case directly.
Submission Mandate: You remain the primary complainant and are solely responsible for formally signing, submitting, and presenting the prepared case directly in your own name.
No Violation of Rules: Complaints Authority SA will not attempt to bypass forum rules or misrepresent its role in proceedings that forbid consultant intervention.
4. Fees & Consultation Terms
The initial R99.00 consultation fee is an administrative, non-refundable file-vetting charge. This fee becomes due and payable once your dispute data is submitted via our online intake form for professional assessment.
5. Accuracy of Information
While we strive to ensure that all information provided on our website and during consultation is accurate and up-to-date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information provided.
6. Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) Data Consent
By engaging our services and submitting data via our platform, you hereby grant explicit consent to Complaints Authority SA (PTY) LTD to collect, store, and process your personal data, identity documents, and dispute-related evidence.
This information will be used solely for evaluating, structuring, and preparing your dispute file.
Your data will only be shared with relevant internal personnel and necessary regulatory bodies within South Africa under your explicit authorization.
